Solidworks CAD Operator

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer with exposure to Solidworks and SAP or other ERP system to assist the project team working on Product Introduction on a contract basis. This will initially be a contract role with a view to an extension.

The requirement is to produce and update drawing. Bills of materials and documentation required working on customer specials and development using solidworks. Previous experience in a Mechanical Design environment CAD experience on a 2D/3D package is necessary. Previous experience in R+D of Electro-mechanical development would be an advantage. Experience of working with a SAP or other ERP management system and/or a nalysis of differing solutions within an ERP system and experience of working in a manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.
