PCB DESIGN ENGINEER

Our client, is one of today's leading edge technology companies involved in the design, manufacture and technical excellence of high specification products for the research and design industry. To continue their push for excellence they now need to recruit an experienced PCB Design engineer with an Electro-mechanical background initially for a 6 month contract.

Main responsibilities will be to maintain design control & change to current product pcb assemblies. Previous extensive experience of digital design and PCB design engineering with additional skills in design & prototyping of microprocessor modules using Protel and Orcad is essential. You must be used to working as part of a team to complete a project and be capable of working autonomously with respect to individual modules. Also experience in design verification and testing of hardware, using most widely available test equipment would be advantageous along with excellent communication and organisational skills.
