Their cutting-edge reconfigurable RF and broadcast technologies are making their mark - initially in the fast-growing markets of mobile TV and digital radio. With significant VC backing, they are developing an extensive range of world-beating products.
Background:
- Candidate will assume a senior “hands-on” RF/analogue/mixed signal design role bringing a wealth of circuit design experience and knowledge to a small but highly capable and motivated team
- Candidate will be responsible for key circuit level design and implementation, ultimately taking responsibility for top-level subsystem integration, verification and sign-off
- Initial focus area will be the design and development of broadcast silicon tuner devices for mobile digital TV and radio products in a range of BiCMOS and pure CMOS technologies
- Will work closely with RF and digital hardware system architects to determine best partitioning of functionality between analogue and digital domains
- Location: 100% office-based Fleet, Hampshire
Key skills:
- A degree qualified engineer (2(i) or above) with ~10 years experience in mixed signal, RF or analogue IC design working on modern silicon CMOS or BiCMOS processes (or an engineer with equivalent experience)
- A strong background in wireless IC design having worked on cellular, broadcast or cordless (BT/WLAN) RFIC developments
- A track record of designing and delivering key RF/mixed-signal circuits & subsystems (LNA, mixer, VCO, PLL or high speed data converters) into production worthy semiconductor devices for low-cost high performance products
