ASP.Net Software Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced .Net developer with strong experience of software development experience using Microsoft products and technologies including classic ASP, VB.Net, ASP.Net, and MS SQL Server 2000/ 2005.

You will be working as part of a small team providing maintenance, support and development tasks for a client's line of business application. Other duties will include participating in various development projects from across our client portfolio. You will be required to Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements; Establish test plans describing test environment and expected results and Interact with business clients and project leaders as well as contributing to technical set-up and execution for specific project areas i.e. estimating, planning, and delivery.

Ideally you should be suitably qualified with at least 4 years experience in a commercial development role with UML, .Net web application development, OOD, OOP, Crystal Reports (or SQL reporting) and JavaScript development experience. In-depth knowledge of relational database design and SQL Server programming, including replication, performance profiling, DTS packages and administration along with experience of XML and n-tier systems design and development is essential. Proven background in development and integration with Microsoft office applications and IIS 6 administration and configuration is desirable along with Application integration with SAGE or other accounting packages; Web Services, Windows Services, SOAP and .Net remoting or VB6 Com objects development experience.
