Our
client is a market leader in the design, manufacture and installation
of high specification products for the research and design industry.
To continue their push for excellence they now need to recruit an experienced
and a well-qualified Product Manager with the full responsibility for
managing the complete product lifecycle of assigned specialist product
line.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, your key duties will include
leading the conception and development (with Engineering, Manufacturing
& Sales teams) of new products and product enhancements, develop and
recommend ongoing product line strategies and through market research,
sales and customer contacts, identify new product opportunities and
defines specific products and features. Just as important is the management
and support of the product line to achieve revenue targets and gross
margins.
Through the monitoring of competitors, market analysis, customer feedback,
you will be required to develop sales support material, Product Positioning
and Tactical plans to help Sales defend and grow market share.
Educated to a minimum of a degree in an Engineering/Technology related
discipline or equivalent, you must have had previous experience in Product
Marketing management (technical products preferably within the Test
and Measurement industry).
Knowledge and market understanding of Test and Data Acquisition & Analysis
technologies would be a distinct advantage.
Ability to work as part of a team is essential as well as knowledge
of marketing tools and techniques.
Additionally the successful candidate will have excellent customer facing
skills: Technology and market vision: Presentation, Interpersonal and
negotiation skills and experience of International Marketing and Sales
