Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Support Engineer
to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical/application/admin support
to UK and Rest Of the World Sales teams.
Responsibilities will include supporting front line sales teams by acting
as the primary technical interface, analyzing and interpreting potential
requirements and being the first point of contact for all sales/technical
enquiries.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be required to handle customer
technical support calls, provide customer training/seminars, handle/filter
Sales calls into Royston and generate, manage & distribute sales leads.
Additional duties will include Assisting sales teams with Tender/proposal
and presentation preparation, Development of application specific solutions,
Special Instrumentation projects and the Management of demonstration
equipment for major exhibitions.
Ideally qualified to degree level, you must have had a minimum of 2
year's experience in a strong customer focused, technically orientated
role. Detailed knowledge and market understanding of Test and Data Acquisition
& Analysis Technologies/Markets would be advantageous as is experience
of International Sales Support.
In addition you must have the ability to work in a team with excellent
customer facing skills and the willingness to develop a career in a
UK field sales, ROW sales or other Sales/Marketing role.
It is essential that the successful candidate is commercially astute
with the ability to negotiate and be prepared to travel worldwide as
and when required.
