Our client located in South Cambridgeshire, is a leading edge technology company involved in the design, manufacture and technical excellence of high specification products for the research and design industry.

They now wish to recruit an experienced CAD Design Engineer to produce designs to specification, time and cost targets.
You will be required to assist the team of R&D Engineers by producing 3D-CAD Models/drawings that integrate with the original conceptual design work.
The position would suit someone with a flair for design rather than a passion for pure research and development work.
Previous experience of operating CAD systems (HP ME10, Solidworks) along with some analysis work is highly desirable.
Qualified to a degree in mechanical engineering, you must have worked in a multi-disciplined design team designing new projects and developing existing products.
Experience in one or more of the following: stress analysis, CFD, thermal modelling or magnetic design would be highly desirable.
