Our client located in South Cambridgeshire, is one of today’s leading edge technology companies involved in the design, manufacture and technical excellence of high specification products for the research and design industry.
To continue their push for excellence they now need to recruit an experienced and a well-qualified Quality Manager to manage and coordinate the Group's quality, price and delivery issues.
It is essential that the Quality Manager's approach be based on modern techniques with a good appreciation of six sigma and kaizen methodologies (or other lean manufacturing methodologies).

The ideal candidate will be a persuasive communicator and an agent for change in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of six sigma and kaizen methodologies wit ha minimum of 5year's experience in similar role.

Experience of ISO9000 quality standards and processes (Maintenance of quality systems and processes to ISO9000: 2000) and the ability to build relationships and credibility both internally and with customers is essential. Overall must have a Confident, pragmatic and pro-active approach to delivering quality improvement with experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment. Excellent project management skills.

Additionally, you must be able to Support and drive, alongside the other members of the quality team, a positive company wide approach to Quality to Develop and implement world-class customer focused quality systems.

Ideally the successful candidate will be a graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience of implementing and managing world-class quality systems using modern manufacturing methodologies. This is a senior role that will eventually require international travel to other manufacturing sites.
