Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and build a hybrid inkjet machine, which demonstrates the benefits of both high throughput and precision deposition.
You will have involvement with all aspects of machine design and build to transfer a particular inkjet product to a production format.

Working as part of a large multidisciplinary team (including chemists, materials scientists, physicists and process engineers), you will ensure that the project meets the very demanding first phase deadlines.

Main responsibilities will include Critical assessment of advanced production technologies, Mechanical, electrical and control system design and technology transfer between the UK and Japan
You will be a graduate with at least 3 years of industrial experience in equipment and design with knowledge of mechanical engineering, electronics and control equipment design.
Additionally you will have a good working knowledge of LabView and/or Visual Basic, C++ and CAD.
You must be a logical thinker with excellent problem solving ability as well as proven time management skills.
