Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Process Development Engineer to develop process techniques, which meet or exceed the requirements of research, development, business and production groups.

Responsibilities will include Developing and reporting on process techniques and materials necessary to meet new or novel product specifications as well as improve the yield and reliability of new and existing products.
You will propose and implement equipment modifications, which improve yield, improve device performance and reduce manufacturing costs. In addition you will establish novel processes initiated by Business Development or R&T, install SOPs and train Technical Assistants on new process techniques.

Qualified to at least degree level (Science/Engineering discipline), you must have at least 5 years experience of vacuum deposition or etching processes within a manufacturing or pilot line environment with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with minimum direction along with high PC literacy, including data manipulation.
In addition you must have good communication skills at all levels of the organisation and with external customers. Successful leadership of cross-functional problem solving teams and the ability to focus on important issues and simplify problems via a methodical approach is essential.
